Tibetan Performing Arts Program

Our performing arts classes are led by a team of highly trained professionals with extensive experience teaching in Tibetan schools and at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, India. The curriculum is thoughtfully developed based on a framework designed by TIPA specifically for Tibetan schools across India and Nepal.

Students engage in learning traditional Tibetan songs and group dances, developing both skill and confidence. They have opportunities to showcase their talents to the community during special events and celebrations. In addition to singing and dancing, students gain hands-on experience with traditional Tibetan musical instruments such as the dranyen, yangjin, and peewang, helping to cultivate a deeper appreciation and connection to their cultural heritage.
